Car Amp working (on Sober by TOOL)

It is said that when times are rough, we come along with great solutions. It happened the other day when I came back to my car to go back home (@ night) that my right door was completly wrecked. When we look inside the radio was gone, someone bended the door so they could reach the trigger to open the door because in my car it is located at the back top of the door. I didn't mind about the radio, it's easy to replace it but the door was another story.

I was really angry. They stole the radiob but I had other things much more valuable in the car that they didn't touch. So I thought that was only made to destroy my car. :S (at least I still have those things)

Anyway... all that is behind

The day after, I said that I didnt want any radio and even a friend offered me one...but I had this idea (cheap), to use one of the PCBs I ordered from ebay (TA2020 - that comes with tripath) to build an amp to connect an Mp3 player to the car speakers.


So...

- I bought an A4 PMMA with 3mm thickness
- TA2020
- Alps Pot (ebay came in a kit with the PCB)
- 2 gold plated RCA connectors (L and R)
- 2 switches
- Green LED
- Aluminium Knob
- Wires

And the final result:

Last Supper - Final version

Last Supper Project ("Jesus" and the metalheads)

While walking around on the streets of our lovely city, we (me and the lady) "stepped" on this chinese shop. One of thousands that grew like mushrooms since a few years ago. But this one caught our attention, with these clocks with paintings of jesus.


We do actually have our "personal jesus" and we thought why not get one of these, change the picture and make it a gift for our beloved friend.

The best part of this kitsch thing is that it has lights around jesus and his apostles. Actually these dots that lit up are some optic fiber that conducts the light from the LED that is hold inside. (well cheap stuff) ... Cool though :P

And I'm pretty sure it will be a hell of a surprise...

A smooth change to my old PSX..

after lots of changes and disagreements with the lady, I just finished to "let it be"..

- A green LED on the power indicator, looks better than the so not-fashion-anymore yellow one... May it R.I.P. .

- the white coat with an Autopsy® logo

- And blue LEDs inside...

Not that hard to do... And... it looks a bit better than what it used to be... XD

This fellow here (scarecrow), that I tried to reproduce is from one of "thousands" of great films of the japanese anime, studio ghibli. This one is called Howl's moving castle. This scarecrow is one of the characters on that film.

This figure was made from stuff that I had at home, I think the result isn't that bad after all I'm no weaver. :P
